Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located near the start of the greenway, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms were lovely, but there was an issue with connecting to reception. The gym and spa were not up to standard, and the pool area had a strong smell that made me feel unwell. However, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Marion and Ella who took great care of my children. The dining experience was good but could use improvements in communication and organization. The location is great for those exploring the town, though the bar needs some attention for cleanliness. Overall, it offers decent value for money.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit too hot and stuffy, and the corridors were narrow like a maze. The pictures online definitely made the hotel look better than it actually is. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. However, it was disappointing to learn that food service was no longer available during our stay.
The hotel was lovely and comfy, with a great location in the centre of Waterford. The staff were excellent, very helpful, courteous, and pleased to see you. The dining experience offered a good variety of options but had some issues with the quality of food. The facilities were enjoyable, including a sauna and jacuzzi, but could have been better maintained. Overall, a recommended stay with a few improvements needed.
I had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice and very clean, although the floorboards above were terribly creaky and woke me up a couple of times. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was good for exploring Waterford city, but could have been better maintained. The dining experience was friendly but could have offered more variety. Overall, a good value for money stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel is situated in a very central location with lovely food and a nice pool. However, the surrounding area is run down, the decor is dated, and beds need upgrading. The breakfast was of low standard with cold food and limited options.
The hotel has a good location overlooking the river but is on a busy road, making it convenient for the center of Waterford. The rooms are slightly dated, and the thin floors did not meet expectations set by the website photos. The service was welcoming, even with a busy influx of guests, though a slight hiccup occurred during our stay. The dining experience was satisfactory, with self-service options but some slow service due to equipment issues.
The hotel was located in a run-down area, but the front overlooking the river was nice. The rooms didn't match the photos online and the breakfast was disappointing. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful.
